Install Assist Keeps Getting Better and Faster

Clare continues to enhance the Install Assist App to make it simpler to add devices without a laptop or network connection. It is so easy to add devices using the Install Assist App, that we are urging experienced Fusion programmers to use Install Assist for initial setup of all compatible devices. It is substantially FASTER to pair devices in Install Assist than build in Fusion. The recent 5.5 release adds the ability to pair and set up Nest and Honeywell Lyric thermostats within the Install Assist and ClareHome Apps only.  Once these devices are added, Fusion can be used for configuring scenes, rules and troubleshooting.

The Clare Dealer Dashboard contains several app guides and brochures to assist you in communicating the functions and features of Clare Controls to your customers. These can either be downloaded or ordered in packages of 25. Several new App guides have been recently added that help highlight the new and improved ClareHome features that empower the homeowner to take full advantage of their system.

With the newest upcoming release of the Install Assist App, installers can now pair and setup Nest and Honeywell Lyric thermostats from the mobile App. Setup and configuration of lighting keypads just got easier as well! Set up a physical or virtual keypad to work as a lighting toggle keypad, or as a smart home scene keypad, all from the Install Assist App.

Clare’s newest release of ClareHome version 5.5 and Amazon Alexa are rolling out this week! ClareHome now supports voice control of connected lights, thermostats, locks, and smart home scenes using Amazon Alexa!

In this week’s episode of Tech Tuesday, we are going to focus on the Alexa integration with ClareHome 5.5 and walk you through the configuration process for the Alexa into your ClareHome.
