Notice of End of Sale Status for ClareOne, ClareHome, and FusionPro Services
END OF SALE NOTICE
Starting today, Clare will begin transitioning towards End-of-Sale status by 12/31/2025.
We appreciate your support and ongoing business over the years. Because of customers like you, Clare has successfully helped to unify smart control for homes and businesses across the world. However, the development efforts and progress made by Clare will continue within the First Alert Pro Series.
The final update to the ClareOne Panel was released on April 21st, 2025. Critical updates, including security updates and bug fixes, will be continued for the ClareOne platform, FusionPro, and ClareHome app until December 31, 2030, at which point the platform will be entering End-of-Life. This status applies to ClareOne, FusionPro, and the ClareHome app.
The ClareVision product line and ClareVision app are not affected by this status change and will continue to be operational, supported, and sold as usual.
After December 31, 2030, communication to Clare servers will end, and panels will only operate at a local level with limited capabilities. Product warranties will continue to be honored from their initial purchase date. We anticipate that our current inventory for ClareOne will be depleted by 12/31/2025, at which point Clare will enter End-of-Sale status.
We do not expect any significant disruptions for your customers or to their Control4 projects and services. Alarm Signal Transport will continue until 12/31/2030 when communication to Clare services is expected to end.
If you have any questions for this transition, please refer to the FAQ below.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why is this happening?
A: We are sure this comes as a surprise for many considering that the ClareOne platform is a solid smart home and security experience. With our merger into ADI and Resideo, we found that we can provide customers a greater experience and impactful solution if we combined our engineering efforts into First Alert. As part of this merger, the Clare engineering teams will be merged into the concentrated efforts of the Resideo team, bringing the experiences and knowledge they have from Clare.
Q: What this means for the future of Clare?
A: Clare as a brand is End of Life. This includes ClareOne, ClareHome App, and the FusionPro backend tool. ClareVision will continue to operate and grow as a standalone surveillance brand.
Q: Is ClareVision affected?
A: No. ClareVision will continue to operate as normal in a standalone capacity. We do not foresee any disruptions to this integration at this time until 12/31/2030 when communication with Clare servers will end. The cameras and NVRs will continue to operate in a standalone matter using the ClareVision App.
Q: How does this affect Control4 customers?
A: Control4 customers should not experience any interruption in their security or services experience until 12/31/2030 when alarm transportation to central stations is no longer operational. We encourage all customers to begin familiarizing themselves with First Alert Pro Series which will feature a deeper integration to Control4.

A: We know and value the relationship you have with your customers. For this reason, we will avoid contacting end users until 12/31/2029, at which point we will send an upcoming end of services notification to any active ClareOne system users . We hope this gives you plenty of opportunity to contact your customers to replace and/or enroll them into a different security solution.
