Upgrading the Camera and NVR Firmware and Adding the Control4 Driver

To support the Control4 integration, your ClareVision IP cameras and NVRs must have firmware with a build date of August 2014, or later. Verify your camera and NVR firmware build and upgrade, if necessary.

Steps:
1. Download the firmware and place it on your desktop.
2. Enter the Maintenance interface: Configuration> System > Maintenance
3. Click Browse to select the local upgrade file, and then click Upgrade to start the remote upgrade.

Note: The upgrading process will take from 1 to 10 minutes. Please do not disconnect power from the camera during this process. The camera reboots automatically after upgrading.

Once you have upgraded the firmware in your ClareVision IP cameras and NVR, you must add the ClareVision Control4 driver to your Control4 system. See Integrating an NVR or Camera Driver into a Control4 Project Product Bulletin (DOC ID 863)for directions on how to integrate the ClareVision Control4 driver.
