How To
Using Accessory Devices with ClareVue Lighting Tech Bulletin
Introduction
The ClareVue Lighting Wizard only supports three-way associations (one master device and one accessory device). If four-way or greater associations are desired, we suggest using 5 button keypads in lieu of accessory devices. Use the Lighting Wizard to program lighting scenes on the keypad.
Suggested keypad use for dimmers and switches:
Dimmers: A 5 button keypad does not have a slide for dimming control. We recommend that you create a lighting scene keypad. Program the first 4 buttons in 25% increments, reserving the last button as an “off” button.
Switches: We recommend that you create a “toggle” keypad and add the switch to one of the keypad buttons. The remaining buttons can be configured to toggle other switches, or left un-programmed.
For detailed instructions on how to add and configure a keypad, see ClareVue Lighting 5 Button Keypad Integration Release Notes.
