A new firmware update has been released for ClareVision Performance (V200) and Color at Night (V300) series cameras that enabled OvrC support, adds vehicle detection capabilities, and various other important bug fixes, optimizations, and backend security enhancements.

ClareVision Cameras Are Now OvrC-Enabled

Experience greater control with ClareVision surveillance! The latest firmware update adds OvrC support for V200 and V300 cameras, allowing you to check camera status, remotely reboot, and access the camera's local web console directly without having to go through the NVR.

 

AI-enabled Vehicle Detection

We’re thrilled to announce that AI-powered analytics on V200 and V300 cameras now include vehicle detection! You can easily enable people or vehicle detection, along with line cross and intrusion events, through the camera or NVR's local web console. These events are fully searchable and can be played back in the ClareVision app and NVRs.

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:

  • Added a lockout feature after 5 failed login attempts which will require a 30-minute cooldown.
  • Added exposure settings optimization to further help reduce image anti-flicker mode when viewing live and recorded video.
  • Added various device optimizations and security improvements
