For End Users:

Added the ability to manage Security Users to the ClareHome App

We have expanded the ability to add and manage security user types to the ClareHome App. Now, the ClareOne Master User can add, manage, and remove additional user types with arm and disarm restrictions. By default, all new users are assigned as "Permanent Users”. The ClareOne Master User can add additional users and restrict their access by defining the user as “Temporary User” or “Scheduled User”. They can also assign a specific name to each user.

  • Permanent User: This is the default user type. The Permanent User’s PIN can be used 24/7 and is not limited by any schedule or expiry date.
  • Temporary User: Temporary User: Temporary Users have full access for a specific period of time defined by a start and end date & and time, during which the PIN can be used.
    Example: Contractors, Airbnb customers, guests.
  • Scheduled User: Scheduled Users have PINs with limited usage according to a set schedule. The schedule can be for specific days of the week and times of the day. Scheduled users do not have an expiry date.
Example: Cleaning crew, landscapers, employees in a business.

Expanded ClareOne Master User capabilities on ClareOne

ClareOne Master Users can now see and edit User IDs and User PINs for all users in the ClareOne Panel. This can be accessed by navigating to Settings > User Settings > Users. You can tap the display icon next to a User ID to reveal the associated PIN.

Improved Camera Streams on the ClareOne Panel

We have made several improvements when pulling up a live video stream of connected cameras, making the process faster and even more reliable.

Improved Account Linking when adding 3rd-Party Devices

We have improved the process for authorizing 3rd-party devices by now displaying a web browser when linking an account. Once the link is complete and ClareOne has authorization to control the device, the web browser will redirect back to the ClareHome app. This improvement allows for more reliable and easier account linking and authorization.

Improved ClareHome App Usability

This update allows the ClareHome app to resume from the last screen if the app goes into sleep mode or is pushed to the background tasks on the end users device. This allows for a quick relaunch of the previous active screen.

Partner Satisfaction and Efficiency:

Password Changing Security Improvement

We have removed the notice that would state an email is not in the system when attempting to change a FusionPro password. This message now states:

"Your request has been submitted. Reset instructions will be sent to the provided email address if there is a matching user account in FusionPro."

Google, Apple, and Facebook Sign-in Changes

We have started the first phase of removing Google, Apple, and Facebook sign-in options in FusionPro as an enhanced security precautionary measure. With this change, FusionPro users are prompted to update their sign-in email if they are using one of the social sign-in methods.

Improved Security

We take our Partners and their customers security seriously. For this reason, we have implemented several important security improvements to FusionPro. These enhancements do not impact Partners or end users.

Persistent Filters on Account List Page

Any set filters will persist, even when moving from a filtered Account List page into a specific account and navigating back to the Account List page. Logging out or closing the browser tab will default all filters to their normal settings.

Dark Mode

To be more consistent with our current theme and branding, as well as facilitate future improvements, the FusionPro user interface will only display in dark mode.

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

  • We have resolved an issue that could remove a Primary User from an account when the account was suspended, but not added back when the account is reactivated.
  • Mobile app users will now properly refresh when using the Move-in/Move-out wizard.
  • Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements:
  • Additionally, this update adds several important bug fixes, performance and stability improvements, and security enhancements.
  • Resolved an issue that could cause a Panic Pendant or ClareOne Keyfob to display Zone Loss Supervisory.
  • Resolved an issue were assigning a Silent Panic profile to the contacts on a door/window sensor with external contacts would not communicate a panic to the Alarm Monitoring Center.
  • Fixed an intermittent issue where the Ethernet connection may not reconnect after a ClareOne Panel reboot.
  • Fixed an issue where a zone which has "Bypassable" disabled will still auto-bypass when the ClareOne Panel is armed.
